Climate Fund Managers (CFM) is the fund manager of Climate Investor One a joint venture between FMO and Phoenix Infraworks. Both are experienced in infrastructure investing asset and fund management. The principle objective of Climate Investor One is to develop projects and achieve medium to long-term returns through private sector participation in a portfolio of renewable energy assets in emerging markets. CFM represents a new approach to funding infrastructure through which social impact economic returns and operating infrastructure will be delivered in a faster and simpler manner. The facility is unique because it combines three innovative investment facilities into one facility that can fund the development construction and re-financing of projects in the wind solar and hydro sectors.
