We are a social enterprise with 2 NGOs, Solidaridad and Cordaid, and a crowdfunding platform Lendahand as shareholders. Through our crowdfunding platform PlusPlus we broker 0% loans from the crowd to small, fast-growing entrepreneurs in developing countries, companies that otherwise would not have access to (affordable) loans. Through our shareholders we have a large worldwide network of deal originators who refer potential entrepreneurs to us. We analyze these entrepreneurs and if acceptable they are put on our platform. Crowdfunders contribute to these loans (technically bonds) and instead of interest they contribute to impact: employment, food supply, economic growth. In our start-up we are supported by financing from our shareholders as well as donations from the NPL (Dutch Postcode Lottery) and P4G (Partnership for Growth), each EUR 1 million.
