Proefwerk

Stichting Proefwerk’s mission is to make a new generation fall in love with education. It does so by deploying students and graduates in schools as an educational organization with extensive knowledge and expertise of the sector, supported by well-founded programs and roles. These ‘Proefwerkers’ gain experience in education alongside their studies by supporting schools with targeted tasks, such as homework guidance, organizing project weeks and first-year camps, or providing subject-specific support to academic departments. If there is a good match, Proefwerk also helps them find the right pathway toward a teaching qualification, which can often be obtained alongside their current studies. In this way, Proefwerk aims to address the major teacher shortages. Currently, around 200 Proefwerkers work at 40 different schools, and the organization continues to grow significantly each year. The ambition is that, in the coming years, 100 people per year will choose a pathway toward a teaching qualification.

Proefwerk is almost continuously looking for students and graduates who enjoy working at a school alongside their studies and supporting pupils. You must be available for at least one day per week and be able to commit until the end of the school year. Stichting Proefwerk is also regularly looking to fill roles within its core team, such as regional manager, sales, or (financial) administrative staff.
