A summer internship is a short internship during the summer months. You gain work experience and discover where your interests lie. The exact nature of this internship varies depending on the company and where your ambitions lie.
Do you want to gain work experience, discover your interests, without delaying your studies? Then a summer internship is perfect for you!
At the end of your studies, you either complete a graduation project or write a thesis at a company. For almost all higher professional education (HBO) programs, this is mandatory, while for most university studies it is optional.
A graduation internship is often one of the final components of your education. Check the timeline of your studies and start looking for a graduation internship about five months before you want to begin.
The salary of a working student varies by company and vacancy. Often, you earn about the same (or more) as with any other part-time job. Unlike an internship, you are paid according to market standards.
There are several platforms where you can find working student positions. The Integrand website also lists various opportunities. Take a look here: https://www.integrand.nl/vacatures/
A working student is a student from a higher professional (HBO) or academic (WO) education who works within a company. They combine work and study. They typically work between 12 and 24 hours per week.
We have career events for everyone. It may happen that a specific event is only for Master’s students, but that will be explicitly stated.
A career event takes you one step further in your career. You can get to know employees of a company in an informal way and learn about the company culture.
At most events, multiple companies are present, so you can, for example, compare them with each other.
These are events that help you (in preparation) take a step further in your career. These events can be exploratory, but they also help with finding an internship, traineeship, or job.

These computer tests are becoming increasingly common in job application procedures. You don’t have to take such a test flawlessly, but it is important to perform better than other applicants. Therefore, you need to prepare yourself well and make strategic choices during the test (for example, if you’re asked a question that you don’t know the answer to, will you guess?). The trainings at Careerstarter and the practice questions at Hellotest.nl are very suitable for this.
Because you often don’t know until a few days in advance which test you’ll need to take, it can be useful to check out the following page: Hellotest. It contains information about which tests employers use and what components are included. This way, you give yourself an advantage because you’ll know what to expect. You can also find many practice questions on this website, allowing you to prepare specifically for your test.
If you’d like personal training, take a look at Careerstarter. Every Saturday, they offer group training, or you can arrange a one-on-one training at your convenience. Group training is cheaper than one-on-one, but if you want to pass your test quickly, you can choose the one-on-one training. 93% of people who take this training pass their test. You can also take the training with a friend, and you’ll get a discount!

When you do an internship, you work at a company for a certain period. Here, you apply the knowledge you have gained in school to practice and gain work experience. It is an ideal opportunity to expand your network and discover which company suits you best.
Integrand is looking for motivated and ambitious university (WO) students who are eager to help other students. There are no specific requirements regarding study direction or extracurricular experiences.
