A little bit about us
Back in 1997, five computer programmers were working on a scheduling application for an aluminum hot mill operator. Their mission – develop a planning and optimization software that could be configured to fit any business model. Their solution was a success and that’s how Quintiq started.
Today, we continue to solve the world’s planning puzzles using the same single, powerful platform. We are now an industry leader in supply chain and optimization with close to 1,000 employees worldwide. Our multidisciplinary teams in IT/optimization, marketing, sales and administration work together to solve our customers’ planning puzzles. What we do
Around 12,000 people in over 80 countries use Quintiq on a daily basis. The Quintiq software helps companies make better plans and schedules to increase profits whilst running more sustainable, efficient operations. Quintiq solves real-life planning puzzles for companies in manufacturing, logistics, mining, steel processing, transportation, aviation, security, broadcasting and many other industries. Our customers include major corporations such as DHL, KLM, DB Schenker, ZDF, VR T and GVB.
