Job information

Are you ready for a challenging internship at ACTIAM? Are you eager to deal with environment, social and governance issues? We offer you the opportunity to develop yourself as an Assistant ESG-Analyst.
If you are enthusiastic and result driven, you might be the perfect match for this role.

Your first responsibility is to analyse firms and sectors on the basis of 'environmental, social and governance (ESG)' criteria, following our propietary ESG-research process. Conducting high-quality sector- and company analyses, summarising findings in professional reports is key. Another important role would be to assists our carbon accounting research and active ownership officers. You may also support the team with other ad-hoc tasks or with smaller projects that can be rather diverse. In your role as an Assistant ESG-Analyst you will report to the Head of ESG-research; on a daily basis, you will be functionally coached by our Sr. ESG-Analysts.

Job requirements

What you'll need:
  • Your academic study should relate to investments (like Finance & Investments, Investment Analysis, Investment Management) or Economics and/or ESG issues (e.g. development economics, environmental economics, social geograpy, etc.). You should be in the later stages (preferably Master) of your studies
  • Clear knowledge of/ affinity with sustainability/ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in general and with responsible investing in particular
  • Strong analytical skills
  • A drive for result, balanced with accuracy
  • Self-sufficiency and a fast-learner
  • Decent and flexible written and spoken communication
  • Excellent English (spoken and written)

What does your company?

ACTIAM offers decent internship remuneration. The internship will have a duration of at least four months. You will work 27 to 40 hours per week, from location Utrecht. It might be possible to work one day from home after some time.
