Thales Trainee
About the job
As a Thales trainee you will have the opportunity to grow fast, develop yourself and move in a relative short period of time to a (senior) position at Thales with responsibilities that matter. You will work on three interdisciplinary assignments within approximately two years. The fourth assignment will be the start of your first job within Thales.
The assignments
The subjects of the assignments you will work on are actual, exciting, interdisciplinary and challenging, based on a ‘real need’ and results. This gives you immediate responsibilities and exposure to senior management, the corporate organization and external parties. As much as possible you will have influence of the choice of your assignments.
Of course, these challenging assignments will require your flexibility. You could be deployed to our different sites (Hengelo, Huizen, Delft, Eindhoven) and potentially in an international assignment (i.e. U.K., Germany) or at one of our clients.

Some examples of assignments are:
- Procurement- New Product Introduction (NPI)
- IT Operations - Design a New Performance Indicator (PI) over data driven decision making
- Marketing Naval- Marketing & Business Intelligence
- Chief Technical Office - Build a Country Strategic Plan
- Offset -Build a ‘business case’ database consisting of ideas for future industrial cooperation projects
- Finance - Transformation of Sales Administration
- Assignments at Quality, IT, Supply Chain, Site Management, IT Management, HR
