About the role:

MG Partners is constantly looking for talented young new colleagues. Looking for an entrepreneurial internship at a private equity investment company? Get in touch and we will tell you more about the possibilities.

As an intern at MG Partners, you will be involved in all stages of the investment process; from identifying and evaluating investment opportunities to acquiring and ultimately exit portfolio companies. Next to the investment process, you will support the management of our portfolio companies in implementing the strategy, preparing competitive landscape and market analyses, analysing financials results and developing strategic initiatives.

When working at MG Partners, you will be part of a close team. We provide an internship with room for personal development and (on-the-job) training. As an intern, you will be widely involved in the projects (deals). As we are a relatively small team with an active and involved approach, you can really make an impact.

What you will be doing:

  • Prepare market, transaction and business analyses
  • Support the growth and development of portfolio companies
  • Collaborate with our management teams to implement business initiatives
  • Prepare meetings with entrepreneurs, advisors and our investors
  • Prepare business valuations (LBO) and in-depth (financial) reports
  • Identify high potential new or add-on deals
  • Being involved in different parts of the investment and eventually exit process

Who are you

  • University (MSc) degree (or working on it)
  • Outstanding academic results as demonstrated by grades
  • Excellent analytical and intellectual skills
  • Good communication skills and persuasiveness, driven, decisiveness and initiative-oriented
  • Team player and affinity with entrepreneurship
  • Fluent in Dutch and English and available for (at least) 4 months
  • Previous (internship) experience in strategy consulting, private equity, investment banking and/or corporate finance is preferred
