East-West Trade & consulting brings together a network of international-oriented and experienced professionals who provide clients with a pool of market entry services; laying the foundations for successful market penetration. These tailored services range from the provision of market reports, leads and exhibition space to other, more extensive, services, such as the organization of highly customized trade missions that attend to the specific needs of participants.
Following a successful start in 2012 and after asserting itself as a chief player with regards to trade and consultancy between the Netherlands and Iran through trade missions, consultancy services and cooperation with the Netherland’s largest associations and the Dutch government in 2015 and 2016, East-West Trade & consulting is expanding its services and geographical reach with the introduction of three exhibitions in Africa and one in Scotland. Furthermore, negotiations have started regarding future collaborations with other chambers of commerce, associations and governmental agencies.
The intern will be fulfilling the position of Junior project manager. He/she will be handling requests from Dutch companies and associations and processing their applications for taking part at the exhibitions that the company represents. These applications can be for individual booths at the exhibitions as well as collective ones organized by associations and/ or the Dutch government in the form of Dutch Pavilions. Furthermore, the intern will generate new sales by contacting new potential clients. The communication will happen by e-mail, telephone and meetings.
In addition to the above-mentioned tasks, the intern has the opportunity to assist with the organization of inward and outward trade missions and seminars.
Preference is given to business students in their last year of Masters although Bachelor students will also be taken into consideration. An openness to being hired after the internship period is certainly a plus as the management of the company would like to invest in future team members.
