Jack Link’s is a family owned and value driven company. In April 2014 Jack Link’s bought the brands BiFi and Peperami from Unilever. The remainder of the year was used to separate the brands and organization from Unilever as well as set up a new head office organization in Amsterdam. In 2015 Jack Link’s EMEA was up and running autonomously. Per 1 January 2016 Jack Link’s also integrated the European Beef Jerky business. The EMEA team currently consist of 500 employees: 430 employees work in the Ansbach factory where BiFi and Peperami are produced; the others are working in the EMEA Head office in Amsterdam and in the Sales teams in the markets. These employees are currently developing the Jack Link’s EMEA culture, adopting the global Jack Link’s values. Being real, showing character and stewardship are key words, just as words like entrepreneurship, taking risks, disruptive communication and accountability. The mission is clear: becoming the global dominant leader in branded portable protein.


Jack Link’s is looking for interns to join the marketing team for a period of around 6 months. In this practical internship you have the chance to get a full understanding of every aspect of marketing in a dynamic and international organization. You will support the marketing team in growing our existing brands BiFi, Peperami and Jack Link’s in key markets and expansion territories. There is enough room to work independently on projects.

Key accountabilities:

• Execution marketing and trade related projects under guidance of marketing team
• Support the team with design and pack changes, evaluation of promotions and in-store activation, new product development projects and sampling activities
• Coordinate with design and communication agencies
• Market analysis
• Support Marketing team in daily work and be stand-in when necessary.
• Contribute to the development of a culture based on the Jack Link’s values, incorporating the values into every day work life, acting as a culture ambassador


Professional education and competencies:

• HBO/WO student in Marketing
• Entrepreneurial thinker, enthusiastic, hands-on attitude
• Strong ability and willingness to lead projects and take ownership
• Open minded and self-initiated personality
• Good analytic understanding of numbers and tables
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills Required language skills:
• Excellent English and Dutch or German Required technical skills:
• Microsoft office
• Comfortable with IT systems/software in general
