A little bit about us
Back in 1997, five computer programmers were working on a scheduling application for an aluminum hot mill operator. Their mission – develop a planning and optimization software that could be configured to fit any business model. Their solution was a success and that’s how Quintiq started.

Quintiq, part of Dassault Systèmes, is looking for a Sales and Marketing intern. We’re looking for an intern who is passionate and enthusiastic! The role of Sales & Marketing Intern at Quintiq is the opportunity to develop your commercial mindset within an international environment. Within this business unit there are many different nationalities and your activities will mainly focus on the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Hence you will mainly communicate in English with your colleagues and prospects.

As a Sales and Marketing Intern, you will be supporting the Inside Sales Specialist, Sales Executives and the Marketing Executive within the business unit Logistics.

Department & supervisor 
You will be part of the business unit Logistics EMEA. You will report directly to the Marketing Executive, with direct oversight and interaction with the Business Unit Sales Director.

Location
This role is based in Quintiq's headquarters at s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. However, you will be expected to work with colleagues around the world.

Type of employment
We are open for both part-time and fulltime candidates. You are available per February 2017 for a minimum period of 5 months. After a successful internship, we would like to keep in contact about the possibilities for you at Quintiq after your graduation.

What you will be doing 
  • Helping out with and preparing of marketing activities (campaigns, events, etc.);
  • Looking for, analyzing and mapping (new) prospects;
  • Outbound prospecting (writing ECPs, InMailing);
  • Qualifying and following up inbound leads;
  • Assisting (Inside) Sales and Marketing Executives.

Functie-eisen

  • You are currently in the final year of your (academic) Bachelor or Master;
  • You have a commercial mindset;
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken;
  • You have gained some commercial experience through one or several serious extracurricular activities;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Experience with Salesforce.com would be a plus.
