Our electric solutions are widely used in demanding markets such as marine mobile off shore industrial autonomous solar and infrastructure.
To test BMS firmware, a lot of tests need to be done. This is now done manually, which is time consuming, error prone and not always as easy to reproduce. To mitigate those disadvantages, we want to make a BMS tester which consists of modules which each can control one of the inputs to the actual BMS:
- Cell voltages,
- Battery current,
- Cell temperatures,
- Relay interface.
These modules must be controllable via communication, preferably MB.
Goal of the project
Create at least one of the modules for the BMS tester:
- Setup the requirements (in consultation with the LiIon team.
- Draw a schematic
- Draw a PCB
- Have the PCB made and assembled
We're looking for a student with an interest in electronics and firmware. Enthusiastic, independent, inquisitive, understanding of (digital) hardware, affinity of (embedded) software. Capable of reporting in English.
