SkyGeo is a ': space 2.0': - company: we specialize in downstream Earth Observation (EO) applications. SkyGeo is part of a small segment of innovative technology companies that operate internationally and develop new applications with the use of radar satellite data: our basic service consists of measuring the Earth's surface movements worldwide. This technique is called InSAR and was developed at TU Delft, among others.

We are an ambitious and motivated team that, on one hand, develops advanced algorithms and analyses to detect millimeter precision movements. On the other hand, we work with of various civil objects to apply this data in their risk management and decision-making systems. Examples are municipalities who manage gas and water pipes, rails, bridges, roads and storage tanks, but also oil and gas extraction companies.

With InSAR monitoring we provide a near real-time insight into deformation processes. Through our online platform we provide data services so our customers can make the right decisions. The information we provide is also used to support the implementation of long-term investment and policy plans.

Our head office is located in the centre of Delft where you also come to work. We also have sales offices in Houston and San Francisco.

Functie omschrijving

SkyGeo constantly develops and improves the conversion form InSAR measurements (data) into object information for our customers. So we are looking for a creative (civil) engineer who is eager to apply his/her engineering talents and people skills

and will help us! You become member of our customer facing team on will be working together on regular projects: for example new projects where status of civil objects is being investigated or subsidence issues are being monitored. You help analyzing data and

bringing civil engineering insights to our InSAR engineers and customer facing application team. Next to that, we encourage you to support the advancement and improvements of the customer information exchange, contributing to new products.

Experienced supervisors with different backgrounds The internship allowance is around € 425 per month; depending on the number of days you work.
