PitPoint, an international provider of clean fuels, has been a part of Total since 2017. To deliver on the changing energy mix needs of customers, PitPoint’s offerings have been merged into the Total group from January 1, 2020, leveraging PitPoint’s clean fuels know-how and Total’s global market presence. The integration with Total evolves PitPoint’s value proposition. Their clean fuel offerings – LNG, CNG, biomethane, hydrogen, and electricity – will take an even more prominent place in the overall Total customer value proposition, enabling companies and governments to make the transition towards more sustainable and low-carbon transport solutions.

At the beginning of this year, ‘Metropolitan Region Amsterdam Electric’ (MRA-Electric) has awarded Europe’s largest concession contract for electric vehicles charging to Total. Under this agreement, Total will install and operate up to 20,000 new public charging points in the Netherlands, in the three provinces of North-Holland, Flevoland and Utrecht. This new contract intends to address the fast growing demand for public Electric Vehicle (EV) charging points in the Netherlands.
