Job description

SymphonyAI Retail | CPG is the global leader in artificial intelligence-enabled solutions for FMCG retailers and manufacturers. From customer intelligence to personalized marketing and from category management to supply chain and retail operations: we offer a tool for every challenge in retail. This is an exciting time to join a fast moving, high growth company. Our team shares a passion for retail, data and technology. We love to celebrate success and we'd like you to join us on our exciting journey!

Our main clients in the Netherlands are supermarket chain Albert Heijn, drugstore Etos and liquor store Gall & Gall. Ahold Delhaize utilizes its loyalty card data coming from among others “de Bonuskaart” to make better customer-centric decisions. When joining our SIS (Shopper InSide) team, you have the opportunity to collaborate with many international FMCG players (Unilever, P&G, AB InBev,..), while also working on developing our constantly evolving software solutions with international colleagues.

The SIS team supports Albert Heijn, Etos and Gall & Gall by coaching suppliers how to determine relevant business questions, develop hypotheses, and turn data into actionable insights. During this internship, you will be working on initiatives such as the evaluation of a promotion campaign, evaluation of a WORP (category reset) or the evaluation of a store activation. You have the autonomy and it is encouraged to propose and choose several interesting subjects.

What will you do?

• Master our AI-enabled software solutions (CMS & CINDE) and support FMCG manufacturers on the effective use of customer loyalty data.

• Develop and test hypotheses from client’s business questions, combining between category understanding and technical know-how.

• Take initiative and participate in many of our cross-border projects, for example, thought leadership case studies or organizational efficiency improvements. The choice is yours.

• Work in tandem with our support and development team in enhancing our software solutions.

• Coordination of the reoccurring activities and streamline these processes (e.g. mutation administration or category information deliverables)

Requirements

What are the requirements?

• You’re studying an HBO / WO Bachelor or Master and have an affinity with Retail/FMCG

• You are comfortable with developing and presenting insights to our international clients

• You're pro-active and not afraid to challenge the status quo

• You're a team player

• You have good communication and project management skills

• You are proficient with MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Working conditions

Why do I want to work here?

• Possibility to graduate (AH bonuscard, Etos and Gall & Gall data is available 😊) in combination with 4 days of working

• Hybrid work; you can choose to work from home or from one of our many international co-working offices (Regus/Spaces).

• Opportunity to gain real working experience in a dynamic environment and meet many people from Albert Heijn as well as multinational FMCG manufacturers

• Internship allowance of €500 gross per month + Reimbursement of travel expenses

• Fantastic benefits including flexible working policies, lunch and team events
