Holland Capital, opgericht in 1981, is een van de eerste onafhankelijke participatiemaatschappijen in Nederland. Wij investeren al meer dan 40 jaar op een verantwoorde en succesvolle wijze in kansrijke Nederlandse MKB-ondernemingen met groeiambitie. Met een heldere investeringsstrategie spelen wij in op meerjarige trends in aantrekkelijke groeimarkten, waarbij wij ons focussen op Healthcare en Technology. Ons ervaren en betrokken investeringsteam weet wat ondernemen is en streeft naar een open, duurzame en professionele relatie met de management teams, met het gezamenlijke doel om optimale groei te realiseren. We worden hierbij ondersteund door een breed netwerk aan succesvolle ondernemers in Healthcare en Technology.

De afgelopen jaren hebben we geïnvesteerd in meer dan 150 deelnemingen. Momenteel hebben we ca. EUR 270m onder beheer. Onze fondsen komen voornamelijk van institutionele investeerders, ervaren ondernemers uit de Healthcare en Technology sector, alsmede family offices.

De cultuur bij Holland Capital is professioneel, ondernemend, ambitieus en open. Ons hechte team bestaat uit 25 jonge, ondernemende proactieve professionals die hard werken, maar daarnaast ook regelmatig leuke dingen met elkaar doen. Zo sluiten we de week altijd af met een borrel bij onze stamkroeg DOK en laat onze personal trainer ons eens per week alle hoeken van de gym zien!

Do you want to step into the exciting world of Venture Capital?

Holland Capital is looking for a full-time intern to join our VC team. Within 5 months, you will familiarize yourself with all aspects of the investment process to ramp up all skills related to VC investing.

About your role

• Support the venture team in all phases of the investment process
• Source attractive investment opportunities and screen inbound deal-flow
• Perform in-depth due diligence on commercial, strategic and financial level
• Build expertise through extensive market research in themes of interest within our target sectors and markets
• Stress test unit economics and financial growth models
• Actively participate in meetings with inspiring founders
• Support and work with our portfolio companies

Functie eisen

We are looking for

• Curiosity in technology or healthcare and its impact on humans, business and society
• Analytical, charismatic and pragmatic person with a proactive attitude
• Strong communication skills to articulate and underpin concepts, propositions and theses, both verbal and written
• Outstanding academic track record, likely with a degree in finance, economics, medicine or science
• Comfortable with analytics, numbers and Microsoft (Excel/PowerPoint)
• Fluency in Dutch and English
